Job summary

A leading consultancy in the UK is seeking a Permanent Principal Civil Engineer to join their Water Division. The successful candidate will handle civil engineering design for projects focused on clean water and wastewater treatment. This role requires previous water experience, relevant education, and professional membership. The position will be based in Newcastle but offers the chance to work on significant projects across the UK.

Qualifications

• Previous civil water experience with a consultancy or similar.
• Member of relevant professional body (ICE/CIWEM) or similar.
• Previous experience on the AMP Framework or Water Framework.

Job Description:

I am currently seeking a Permanent Principal Civil Engineer to work within the Water Division of a UK Consultancy. This position will be based out of their Newcastle Office.

This role would include, but not be limited to the below

• Ensure best practices are followed at all times.
• Responsible for the project's civil engineering design.
• Working with the project design team/leads to ensure successful project delivery and outcomes
• Projects would include, but not be limited to clean water treatment and networks, wastewater treatment, wastewater networks, flooding, and urban drainage

The Ideal Candidate will have

• Previous civil water experience with a consultancy or similar
• Previous experience on the AMP Framework, Water Framework or Similar
• Member of relevant professional body – (ICE/CIWEM) or similar
• 2x References
• Degree in Civil Engineering or Similar
