Spencer Clarke Group is seeking a qualified Principal Accountant for a 6-month initial contract, working hybrid in Bedford. The role involves significant responsibilities in investment accounting and pension fund financial management, requiring strong communication skills to liaise with various stakeholders.
Spencer Clarke Group is working with a local authority in Bedfordshire to recruit a Principal Accountant.
Contract: Initial 6-month contract with a view to extension.
Work Schedule: Full-time, Monday – Friday.
Hybrid Working: 2 days required in the office per week.
Role Brief: Ideally a qualified accountant or someone qualified with relevant LGPS experience and good communication skills, as activities will involve liaising with custodians, external auditors, investment managers, and our pool company Border to Coast.
