Job summary
Penguin Recruitment Ltd in Cardiff is seeking a Principal Wastewater Hydraulic Modeller to take technical ownership of wastewater modelling projects across the UK water sector. You will develop computer models to assess network performance, identify investment needs and support engineering solutions.
You will lead and mentor a team of modellers, coordinate technical delivery, review outputs and contribute to tenders and fee proposals. The role offers hybrid/remote working and clear progression.
Qualifications
- Degree or equivalent in a related discipline.
- Significant experience in wastewater hydraulic modelling.
- Expertise in InfoWorks ICM and ICM Exchange.
- Experience in model build, verification, calibration, and hydraulic/water quality analysis.
- Full UK driving licence and right to work in the UK.
- Live within a commutable distance to Cardiff office.
Responsibilities
- Develop computer models to investigate network performance.
- Coordinate technical project delivery and advise clients on asset investment decisions.
- Oversee the quality of modelling outputs.
- Mentor and supervise other modellers and support technical innovation.
- Contribute to tender submissions and fee proposals.
