Job summary

Qualifications

• Degree in Civil Engineering, Geography, GIS or equivalent.
• Extensive experience in wastewater hydraulic modelling and network planning.
• Proficiency with InfoWorks ICM and ICM Exchange.
• Experience leading projects and technical teams with QA.
• Knowledge of UK water industry and regulatory DWMPs.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee delivery of complex wastewater hydraulic modelling projects.
• Manage a team of wastewater modellers, mentoring and developing staff.
• Oversee model build, verification, calibration, and hydraulic and water quality analyses.
• Lead catchment planning, DWMPs and development of engineering solutions to challenges.
• Review and quality-assure reports, modelling outputs, and deliverables.
• Manage client relationships and provide specialist technical advice.
• Support project delivery, tender submissions, fee estimates and technical innovation.

The Role – Principal Wastewater Hydraulic Modeller

• Lead and oversee the delivery of complex wastewater hydraulic modelling projects.
• Manage a team of wastewater modellers, providing technical guidance, mentoring and professional development.

Requirements

• Degree in Civil Engineering, Geography, GIS or a related discipline, or equivalent professional qualifications.
• Significant experience in wastewater hydraulic modelling and network planning.
• Strong expertise in InfoWorks ICM and ICM Exchange.
• Proven experience in model build, verification, calibration, and hydraulic analysis.
• Experience leading projects, managing technical teams and providing quality assurance.
• Strong understanding of the UK water industry, regulatory requirements and DWMPs.
• The full right to work in the UK
