Jacobs is seeking a Principal Transport Planner (Development Management) to lead and shape transport planning advice for UK-wide projects. You will act for highway authorities, review planning applications, and ensure developments meet policy requirements while delivering safe, workable outcomes.

You will mentor junior team members, develop capability, and maintain strong client relationships across local authorities, consistently delivering quality, pragmatic transport solutions.

Qualifications

• Experience in Highways Development Management and acting on behalf of Highway Authorities.
• Strong ability to review planning applications and assess transport impacts.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support transport advice to public sector clients.
• Review planning applications and ensure policy compliance.
• Mentor junior team members and share knowledge.
• Maintain relationships with local authority clients and stakeholders.
