Job summary

Aldwych Consulting in Bristol is seeking an experienced Principal Transport Planner to lead transport planning projects across residential, commercial and infrastructure developments. You will manage client relationships, mentor junior staff and help grow the Bristol office.

You'll work within a national team on challenging projects, shape strategy, and deliver high-quality assessments, statements and travel plans, while embracing hybrid working and a collaborative culture.

Principal Transport Planner

Bristol

I'm currently working with a highly regarded transport consultancy that is investing significantly in the growth of its Bristol office. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Principal Transport Planner to join a business with an outstanding reputation in the development and infrastructure sectors, while playing a key role in the continued expansion of its South West presence. The consultancy works on a diverse portfolio of projects across residential, commercial, mixed-use, logistics, education and major infrastructure developments, partnering with leading developers, architects and public sector organisations throughout the UK and internationally.

The Opportunity

Joining a growing office, you'll have the chance to make a genuine impact on both project delivery and the future direction of the team. You'll lead transport planning projects, manage client relationships and contribute to business growth, while working alongside a highly experienced national team. Key responsibilities will include:
