Senior Traffic Signals Design Engineer - United Kingdom (Remote)

We're looking for an experienced engineer to lead the design of complex signalised junctions, pedestrian crossings, and intelligent traffic control systems across a range of high-profile infrastructure projects. This agile role offers a 50/50 split between home working and onsite presence, ideal for surveys, design validations, and stakeholder engagement.

Responsibilities:

• Undertake on-site inspections, surveys, commissioning, and supervision
• Prepare technical designs of complex signalised junctions and pedestrian crossings according to approved procedures, including technical specifications
• Provide technical oversight on new product or service ideas and plan designs
• Prepare complex MOVA Designs and MOVA Datasets
• Maintain good knowledge of design standards such as TSRGD, DMRB, and the Traffic Signs Manual
• Conduct MOVA Validations of complex junctions and roundabouts

Candidate Profile:

Previous experience in designing signalised junctions and pedestrian crossings is essential. The ideal candidate is seeking to advance to a Senior Design Services Engineer role and bring fresh perspectives to existing solutions within the Traffic Signal Design industry.

Key Requirements:

• Proficiency with AutoCAD, Keysignals, OSC Mapper, and AutoTURN software
• Microsoft Office skills
• Knowledge of TOPAS 2500A Traffic Signal Controller Specifications
• Familiarity with MOVA Tools, Datasets, and Linking
• Knowledge of LinSig 3
• Full UK Driving Licence
