About the Role

We are a leading name in defence, aiding Governments, Nations, and Societies to defend themselves in an ever-evolving world. We are currently looking for an experienced Principal System Engineer to join our prestigious Submarines team. This role involves being part of our new office in Coventry, focusing on the design and engineering of submarine subsystems and components.

Candidate Profile

The ideal Principal System Engineer will have:

1. Extensive experience with systems engineering processes and practices.
2. Hands-on experience with MATLAB/Simulink.
3. Experience with MBSE tools such as SysML, UML, Enterprise Architect, and Sparx.
4. A STEM-related degree and previous experience in Automotive, Defence, Telecommunications, or Nuclear sectors.
5. Experience in team leadership and mentorship.
6. Full eligibility for SC Clearance.
7. Salary up to £62,000.
8. Performance bonus.
9. Hybrid working (2 days on-site).
10. One-stage interview process.
11. Relocation packages available for those living 40+ miles from the site.
