MBDA Missile Systems is seeking a Principal Systems Design Engineer to deliver systems engineering artefacts for major programmes developing the latest Complex Weapons for the UK and allied Armed Forces. The role involves defining requirements, architecture, and plans to certify products across air, land and sea domains.
You will contribute to the development of systems engineering artefacts, while mentoring junior engineers and growing your own expertise in a fast-paced defence environment.
As a Principal Systems Design Engineer in the System Design Missiles function you will be responsible for delivering systems engineering artefacts to major programmes developing the latest Complex Weapons capabilities for the UK and allied Armed Forces in response to advanced threats across Air, Land and Sea domains.
Between £53,000-£57,500 depending on experience
2-3 days per week on-site due to workload classification (may vary depending on specific project needs)
British Citizen or a Dual UK national with British citizenship
Restrictions and/or limitations relating to nationality and/or rights to work may apply. As a minimum and after offer stage, all successful candidates will need to undergo HMG Basic Personnel Security Standard checks (BPSS), which are managed by the MBDA Personnel Security Team.
