National Highways offers an exciting opportunity for a Principal Structures Engineer to join our Asset Management division. You will lead the development of asset management plans, provide technical expertise on asset evaluations, and ensure the quality of infrastructure management. This role is pivotal to our mission of improving road network safety and reliability in England.

National Highways have an excellent opportunity for a Principal Structures Engineer to join our Asset Management division within Operations. As a Principal Structures Engineer, you will provide technical expertise in managing National Highways infrastructure and provide specialist knowledge to Engineers involved in the identification and evaluation of asset specific needs and early solutions.
This role can be basedfrom our Manchester, Warrington, Preston and Penrith offices.
Please note you will be required to drive as part of your role and you will need to have a full driving licence, with no more than 3 points, to be considered for this position.

External candidates will be offered a starting salary at the lower end of the pay scale, while current employees will be appointed in accordance with our established pay policy.
