National Highways offers an exciting opportunity for a Principal Structures Engineer to manage infrastructure assets. The successful candidate will leverage their engineering knowledge, develop asset management strategies, and ensure best practices in asset condition assessment for safer roads across England. This role calls for a Chartered or Incorporated Engineer with substantial experience in highways infrastructure.

National Highways have an excellent opportunity for a Principal Structures Engineer to join our Asset Management division within Operations. As a Principal Structures Engineer, you will provide technical expertise in managing National Highways infrastructure and provide specialist knowledge to Engineers involved in the identification and evaluation of asset specific needs and early solutions.
This role can be based from our Manchester, Warrington, Preston and Penrith offices.
Please note you will be required to drive as part of your role and you will need to have a full driving licence, with no more than 3 points, to be considered for this position.

External candidates will be offered a starting salary at the lower end of the pay scale, while current employees will be appointed in accordance with our established pay policy.
