Job summary

Tony Gee and Partners LLP in Birmingham is seeking an experienced Senior Structural Engineer to join our Birmingham office. The role covers highways, rail, power and energy sectors, with design of bridges, buildings and temporary works.

You will lead a delivery-focused team and engage with clients to ensure quality outcomes. The ideal candidate will have a Chartered Engineer status and strong knowledge of structural analysis software, with a track record of delivering complex projects across

Qualifications

• MEng with Chartered Engineer status (ICE or IStructE)
• Experience in bridge and building structure design
• Experience in civil engineering structures design
• Experience with temporary works design
• Experience across rail, highways and power sectors

Responsibilities

• Act as technical lead for delivery projects.
• Lead, line manage and develop a delivery focused team of engineers and technicians.
• Manage schemes including client reporting, programming, resource planning and commercial management.
• Secure and deliver works to new and existing clients.
• Collaborate within a multidisciplinary team and maintain client-focused approach.

Tony Gee and Partners is currently looking for an experienced Senior Structural Engineer to join our Birmingham office.

This role brings opportunity to work across multiple sectors (highways, rail, power and energy) involved in the engineering design of a variety of structure types, from bridges to buildings and including temporary works. This role offers a varied workload and a chance to develop and broaden skills in new areas.

• Working within a multidisciplinary team environment
• A client-focused approach, with understanding of construction best practice
• Act as a technical lead for the delivery projects
• Good working knowledge of structural analysis software
• Experience in the production of calculations/drawings, risk assessments, specifications and reporting
• Lead, line manage and develop a delivery focused team of Engineers and Technicians
• Manage schemes including client reporting, programming, resource planning and commercial management
• Secure and deliver works to new and existing clients
