Job summary

Qualifications

• MEng and CEng (ICE or IStructE) are required.

• Lead and develop a delivery-focused team of engineers and technicians.
• Manage schemes with client reporting, programming, resource planning and commercial management.
• Secure and deliver works to new and existing clients.

Job description

Tony Gee and Partners is currently looking for an experienced Senior Structural Engineer to join our Birmingham office.

This role brings opportunity to work across multiple sectors (highways, rail, power and energy) involved in the engineering design of a variety of structure types, from bridges to buildings and including temporary works. This role offers a varied workload and a chance to develop and broaden skills in new areas.

• Excellent structures design capability Working within a multidisciplinary team environment
• A client-focused approach, with understanding of construction best practice
• Act as a technical lead for the delivery projects
• Good working knowledge of structural analysis software
• Experience in the production of calculations/drawings, risk assessments, specifications and reporting
• Lead, line manage and develop a delivery focused team of Engineers and Technicians
• Manage schemes including client reporting, programming, resource planning and commercial management
• Secure and deliver works to new and existing clients
