Job summary

ClinChoice is seeking a Principal Statistical Programmer Consultant to join a client site within the UK. This client-facing role emphasizes independence and high-trust collaboration with sponsor teams. You will lead programming activities, develop SAS programs, and support regulatory submissions while mentoring others.

Strong CDISC SDTM/ADaM experience and ICH/GCP knowledge are essential for success. Candidates should have a CS or statistics degree with 5–6+ years of clinical programming

• Master’s in CS, statistics, or related fields with 6+ years of CDISC experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead statistical programming activities for clinical trials.
• Develop/review SAS programs, datasets, tables, listings, and figures.
• Provide technical guidance to Statistical Programmers.
• Review programming specifications and outputs.
• Support SDTM/ADaM and regulatory submissions.
• Collaborate with statisticians, data managers, and clinical teams.
• Own programming deliverables and timelines.
• Mentor junior and senior programmers.

Key Responsibilities

• Leading statistical programming activities for clinical trials
• Developing/reviewing SAS programs , datasets, tables, listings, and figures
• Providing technical guidance to Statistical Programmers
• Reviewing programming specifications and outputs
• Supporting SDTM/ADaM and regulatory submissions
• Working closely with statisticians, data managers, and clinical teams
• Taking ownership of programming deliverables and timelines
• Mentoring junior and senior programmers

Education and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science (CS), statistics, or related scientific disciplines with 5 yrs. of clinical programming (CDISC) experience; Master’s degree in CS, statistics or related disciplines with 6 yrs. of clinical programming (CDISC) experience.
• Working knowledge of ICH and Good Clinical Practices, Clinical research, Clinical trial process, and related regulatory requirements and terminology.
• Good understanding of the clinical drug development process.
• Strong communication skills and coordination skills.
• Current knowledge of technical and regulatory requirements relevant for the role
• Ability to proactively manage concurrent activities within a project
• Proficient ability to influence relevant stakeholders on programming-related items
