Job summary

Accenture Manchester is seeking a Principal Software Engineer to lead engineering workstreams across client projects, shaping delivery with a strong emphasis on quality and tangible outcomes.

You will grow teams, mentor engineers, and collaborate with stakeholders to align technical solutions with business goals. Travel to client sites across the UK will be required on an ad hoc basis, with a focus on scalable, cloud-native product engineering.

Qualifications

• Strong track record leading engineering teams and mentoring others.
• Proven ability to build relationships with stakeholders and deliver results.
• Extensive experience building backend services across integration paradigms (sync, async, event-driven).
• Proficient in Java, C#, Python, TypeScript, or React; cloud on AWS and/or Azure.
