Job summary

Data Science Festival is seeking a Principal Software Architect to provide technical leadership and shape software architecture for a growing SaaS business. You’ll mentor engineers, establish engineering best practices, and work hands-on to deliver secure, scalable cloud-native solutions.

Reporting to the CTO, you’ll collaborate with Product and stakeholders to translate requirements into robust technical solutions, balancing strategic thinking with practical delivery in a hybrid Milton Keynes

Qualifications

• Extensive experience designing and delivering high-quality software.
• Strong experience with C#, ASP.NET, Azure, React and REST APIs.
• Ability to design scalable, secure architectures.
• Deep understanding of cloud-native development on Azure.
• Experience guiding technical strategy and architectural decisions.
• Mentoring engineers and promoting best practices.
• Excellent communication with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Interest in applying AI tools to improve productivity.
