Job Description

We are seeking enthusiastic Principal and Senior Civil Engineers to support the growth of our regional Development Team in Bristol, focusing on civil engineering for development infrastructure. You will work within a team supporting the production of designs and drawings for construction projects and technical reports for masterplanning in support of planning applications. Responsibilities include:

• Supporting the delivery of concept studies/strategies with hands-on design for planning applications, technical approvals, and construction drawings.
• Contributing to various development projects across multiple sectors and clients.
• Managing multiple projects and client accounts simultaneously.
• Providing guidance and support to technical staff.
• Engaging with clients, stakeholders, and design teams, and managing project delivery within budget and schedule.

The team is part of a high-performing discipline within the Planning and Development business unit, which includes over 800 colleagues. We aim to be recognized as the leading development team in the industry, focusing on technical excellence, people, clients, and operational excellence.

Qualifications include experience in highway design, drainage, flood risk, utilities, and a good understanding of the development industry, with proficiency in relevant software such as InfoDrainage/MicroDrainage, Civils 3D, and PDS. Postgraduate experience and progress towards Chartership are preferred.
