Job summary

Mott MacDonald is seeking an ICT Principal Engineer to design Security Systems and ICT Infrastructure within the Digital Infrastructure team. You will work with the Buildings division across varied sectors and support senior managers on commercial delivery.

Travel within the UK is expected as projects span healthcare, defense, aviation, data centres and more. The role emphasizes leading design, coordinating with multi-disciplinary teams, and mentoring early-career professionals while delivering

Qualifications

• Proven experience delivering projects within the built environment.
• Extensive Security System and ICT infrastructure design experience across concept and detailed design stages.
• Capable of leading design and specification of CCTV, Access Control, Intruder Detection and Integrated Security Management Systems.

Responsibilities

• Deliver Security Systems and ICT infrastructure design for major projects from concept through to detailed design.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams and collaborate with architects and civil engineers.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships and ensure high-quality service delivery.
• Support senior managers in commercial and contractual aspects of projects.
• Prepare design documents including sketches, drawings, reports, schedules and specifications.
