Job summary

X4 Technology is seeking a Principal Security Architect (SFIA Level 6) for the UK MOD programs. Location is hybrid with Corsham or Abby Wood (Bristol), 2-3 days on site.

You will lead secure by design across new applications, own threat modelling and risk assessment, and act as the senior security voice to programme leads and assurance bodies. Active SC clearance and sole British passport are essential.

Qualifications

• SFIA level 6 or equivalent security architecture experience.
• MOD/Defence project experience essential.
• Sole British passport holder with active SC clearance.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end security architecture for new applications and services.
• Embed MOD Secure by Design (JSP 440 / JSP 604) into delivery teams.
• Own threat modelling, risk assessment and security design artefacts.
• Be the senior security voice to programme leads and assurance bodies.

We're working with a leading UK security consultancy trusted by government and defence. They are on the look out for a Principal Security Architect (SFIA Level 6) to lead Secure by Design on new application development across MOD programmes.

Principal Security Architect – Key Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end security architecture for new applications and services
• Embed MOD Secure by Design (JSP 440 / JSP 604) into delivery teams
• Own threat modelling, risk assessment and security design artefacts
• Be the senior security voice to programme leads and assurance bodies

Principal Security Architect – Key Skills Required

• Sole British passport holder, live and active SC clearance is essential
• Senior / principal Security Architect experience (SFIA 6 or equivalent)
• Proven experience on MOD / Defence projects – essential
