Principal Scientist - Cellular Pharmacology (Under the leadership of Agnes Martin)
Starting salary: From £50,400-£57,400 per annum depending on experience plus benefits (including up to 12% pension contribution and income protection)
Reports to: Group Leader Cell Pharmacology
Department: Research and Innovation
Contract: Permanent
Hours: Full time 35 hours per week (flexible working requests considered if they meet business needs)

We are seeking an experienced and passionate Principal Scientist to lead in designing, developing, and analyzing cellular assays within our Drug Discovery team at Babraham Research Campus, Cambridge.
About CRUK Drug Discovery: As the world's largest medical research charity, we've helped bring eleven new cancer drugs to market. Our new Cancer Research Horizons initiative unites our drug discovery efforts, leveraging our expertise, academic partnerships, and innovative platforms to accelerate the development of new treatments.
What will I be doing?
This role focuses on designing and executing cellular assays to evaluate small molecules' mechanisms of action, informing dose prediction and clinical efficacy. As a senior member, you'll shape project strategies, stay abreast of cutting-edge techniques, and contribute to scientific dissemination through conferences and publications.
