Oxford University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust seeks a Principal Clinical Technologist to lead Radiotherapy Physics, focusing on treatment planning and QA. The role supports satellite sites and offers flexible working arrangements to suit the service and candidate.

You will provide expert clinical input, train staff, and help develop new planning techniques across VMAT/RapidArc and IMRT using advanced planning systems. Collaborative research and trials are encouraged.

Formación

• Relevant degree or equivalent level of knowledge to NVQ Level 4.
• Membership of a relevant professional body is required.
• MSc or equivalent knowledge is desirable.

Responsabilidades

• Lead provision of technical/clinical service in Radiotherapy Physics, primarily in treatment planning.
• Provide expert advice to consultants and healthcare professionals on planning issues.
• Train Radiotherapy staff in treatment planning techniques and equipment QA, and help develop new techniques.
• Participate in QA and calibration of radiotherapy equipment and contribute to service development.

Educación
