Qualifications

• Doctoral level training in applied psychology with knowledge of lifespan development, psychopathology and clinical psychometrics.
• Registered with the HCPC as a Practitioner Psychologist.
• Specialist training in trauma-focused therapies (e.g., Schema, EMDR, CAT, CFT, CBT).
• Postgraduate training relevant to the post (Personality Disorder, Risk Assessment, Interventions).
• Experience of working within forensic/secure settings and in Multi-Disciplinary Teams.
• Capability to provide supervision and governance in psychological services.

Responsibilities

• Provide a highly specialist psychological therapy service to patients referred to the Fens Service.
• Supervise and support psychological assessment and therapy delivered by the team.
• Support the Clinical Lead in developing highly specialised care programmes and advise non-psychology staff.
• Lead project work within the Fens service and help develop staff teaching/training.
• Collaborate with partner agencies to develop innovative services and evaluate outcomes.
• Ensure access to a psychologically based framework for care across service settings.
• Lead MDT meetings and contribute to data sharing and care pathways across sites.

Education

Doctoral level training in applied psychology with lifespan development, psychopathology and clinical psychometrics

HCPC registration

Specialist trauma-focused therapy training (Schema, EMDR, CAT, CFT, CBT)

Postgraduate training in Personality Disorder, Risk Assessment, and interventions

Experience in forensic/secure settings and MDT collaboration
