Job Description:

Description: We are expanding our Electrical team and seeking a Protection and Control Engineer to develop clean technologies and renewable projects. The role involves technical analysis, project development, stakeholder coordination, tendering, and presentation. The ideal candidate has strong technical expertise, a successful track record in energy projects, and willingness to travel nationwide.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Produce design deliverables for grid connection projects at 132kV or 33kV, including schematics, wiring diagrams, and schedules.
2. Specify equipment and liaise with suppliers and procurement teams.
3. Create scope of work documents for contractors.
4. Prepare project cost estimates and financial evaluations.
5. Liaise with clients and attend project meetings.
6. Ensure comprehensive understanding of project terms and requirements.
7. Perform additional duties as required.

Minimum Qualifications:

1. Engineering degree, preferably in Electrical Engineering.
2. Working towards or achieved chartered engineer status.
3. Strong understanding of electrical design principles.
4. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
5. Excellent communication and presentation skills.

Preferred Experience:

1. Protection and controls design for battery energy storage projects.
2. Protection and controls design for high-voltage transmission projects (275kV – 400kV).
3. Protection and controls design for large-scale solar projects.
