Job summary

The Mining Remediation Authority is seeking an experienced Chartered Surveyor to join as Principal Property Manager within our Salinity Programme in Mansfield. You will lead a specialist property team and oversee land and property rights essential to major environmental remediation projects.

Hybrid working is offered with regular days in our Mansfield office; you will negotiate complex land rights, shape strategy, and collaborate with landowners, authorities, and technical specialists to deliver

Qualifications

• Must be a Chartered Surveyor (MRICS) with significant post-qualification experience.
• Experienced in land, property, development or infrastructure environments.
• Strong negotiator with a track record of securing complex land and property rights.

Responsibilities

• Lead acquisition of land and property rights to support remediation programmes.
• Oversee negotiations and stakeholder engagement with landowners, authorities and partners.
• Develop and lead a high-performing property team and build strong stakeholder relationships.
• Shape strategy and programme delivery for the Salinity Programme.

You’ll oversee the acquisition of land and property rights needed to support major remediation programmes, working with landowners, local authorities, partners and technical specialists to deliver successful outcomes.

About You

You’ll be:

• A Chartered Surveyor (MRICS or equivalent) with significant post-qualification experience.
• Experienced in land, property, development or infrastructure environments.
• A strong negotiator with a track record of securing complex land and property rights.
• An effective leader who can develop high-performing teams and build strong stakeholder relationships.
• Commercially aware, financially astute and comfortable working in complex programme environments.
