Job summary

The Coal Authority is seeking an experienced Chartered Surveyor to join the Mining Remediation Authority as Principal Property Manager within our Salinity Programme. You will lead a specialist property team and influence strategic decisions to deliver nationally important environmental projects.

In this 12-month maternity cover, you will oversee land and property rights acquisitions, work with landowners, local authorities and technical specialists, and shape programme delivery through strong

Qualifications

• Chartered Surveyor (MRICS or equivalent) with significant post-qualification experience.
• Experience in land, property, development or infrastructure environments.
• Strong negotiator with a track record of securing complex land and property rights.
• Effective leader who can develop high-performing teams and build stakeholder relationships.
• Commercially aware, financially astute and comfortable working in complex programme environments.
