Overview

First Military Recruitment is proudly working in partnership with a business seeking to recruit a Principal Project Engineer (Signalling) on a permanent basis to cover the Scottish region due to growth.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Formulate delivery plans and budgets, monitor performance to ensure targets and margins are achieved.
• Ensure project engineering staff plan and execute projects to meet or exceed tendered margins.
• Manage changes to scope and specifications, review risk registers and issues logs.
• Review P6 project plans for effective delivery, liaise with Construction and Testing for resource planning.
• Review and adjust resource plans to optimize utilisation.
• Oversee engineering and technical change control processes throughout projects.
• Act as CEM / CRE and Project Engineer when required and competent.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Professionally qualified in an appropriate discipline.
• Proven success in project engineering.
• IRSE licence and PTS Qualification.
• Chartered Engineer – desirable.

Additional Details:

• Location: Scotland (WFH)
• Salary: £75,000pa + £5k Car Allowance
• Working Hours: Monday to Friday (Flexi hours available)
