Job Title: Principal Process Safety Engineer

Job Type: Permanent

Start Date: ASAP - Subject to clearance

Salary: Competitive (DOE)

Location: Bristol, Manchester or Epsom - Hybrid available

Hours of Work: Up to 40 hours per week

Requirements:

• Experience with multidiscipline hazard workshops such as HAZID, HAZOP, LOPA, bowtie analysis, ALARP demonstration, inherent safety assessment, and the successful close-out of actions.
• Consequence analysis skills to evaluate hazards like fire, toxics, and explosion in risk assessments.
• Experience with DSEAR risk assessment.
• Chartered Engineer status.

Your Role:

You will support the delivery of projects within the Nuclear and Power sectors, working across all project stages from feasibility to commissioning. Your focus will be on nuclear new build, science, industry markets, decommissioning, disposal, Net Zero, defense, and generation projects. You will lead on complex process safety issues, supervise technical safety activities, and assist with proposals and bids. This role involves working in highly regulated environments within multidisciplinary teams, delivering complex projects, and ensuring safety standards.
