Principal Process Engineer - Energy, Redditch

This role is within the context of the Energy Transition, which aims to shift how we produce, distribute, and consume energy towards a lower carbon future. The position offers an opportunity to join Stantec's leading Energy team, working on diverse projects such as EfW plants, district heating, gasification, hydrogen, and biogas projects.

The successful candidate will provide technical leadership, oversee multi-disciplinary project teams, and lead digital delivery strategies, including process modelling and P&IDs. Mentoring and coaching of process engineers is also a key responsibility, alongside fostering a culture of safety and continuous improvement.

About You

You should have a degree in Chemical or Process Engineering (or equivalent), preferably with experience in energy, water, or related industries, and be a member of a relevant engineering institution like IChemE. This role involves managing projects, teams, budgets, and client relationships, and embodying values of client focus, community, collaboration, and service excellence.
