At Cavendish Nuclear, we’re working to create a safe and secure world, together. Join us as a Principal Process Engineer at our Warrington or Bristol sites.

The Role

As a Principal Process Engineer, you will provide leadership in delivering engineering and technical activities through your process, domain knowledge, and experience.

Your responsibilities include resolving technical issues, compiling technical reports and presentations, and ensuring adherence to specifications based on stakeholder requirements:

• Coaching, mentoring, and assisting colleagues within your discipline.
• Developing business awareness.
• Building strong relationships with stakeholders.
• Working independently or as part of a small team.
• Serving as a subject matter expert in your specialist area.

This is a full-time role, 37 hours per week, with regular travel to Warrington or Bristol, alongside home working arrangements.

Flexible and agile working options may be available, including part-time, condensed hours, and job sharing. Please inquire during the interview process about alternative working patterns.

Essential Experience

• Experience managing teams to deliver analysis activities across various project types.
• Proven ability to handle tasks of varying complexity.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to interface with other disciplines.
• Experience in the nuclear sector is preferred but not essential.

Qualifications

• Degree in Chemical Engineering.
• Chartered Chemical Engineer status.
