Stantec, a globally recognised leader in water and natural resources, is seeking a talented & ambitious Principal Process Engineer to join our team in Leeds, Manchester, Warrington or Newcastle. We partner with key clients as strategic advisors, setting the industry standard.

As our client relationships grow and we secure new projects, including Yorkshire Water's Storm Overflow Alliance for AMP 8, we have an opening for a Principal Process Engineer to support our expansion.

You will lead in delivering innovative water projects, leveraging your technical expertise to support Project Managers and ensure high-quality execution—meeting cost, schedule, and quality targets while exceeding client expectations.

You will also mentor and develop Process Engineers in Leeds and foster strong relationships across multidisciplinary teams.

About You

We are looking for candidates with a strong background in Process Engineering within the Water/Wastewater industry, who possess:

• A degree in Chemical/Process Engineering (or equivalent) and a passion for water.
• Proven experience leading project teams and fostering collaboration and innovation.
• The ability to translate client needs into actionable solutions and guide project execution.
• Strong leadership and communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Experience managing staff and promoting continuous learning.
