Job summary

Birmingham and Solihull Mental Health NHS Foundation Trust is seeking an experienced clinical/counselling psychologist to join the ARMS/EIS service in the Birmingham area. The post involves senior multidisciplinary collaboration and delivering high-quality psychological care to young people and adults with first-episode psychosis.

Qualifications

• Doctoral level qualification in clinical or counselling psychology.
• Experience delivering NICE concordant psychological therapies.
• Experience with assessments and CBTp.
• Line management and supervision experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide highly specialist clinical/counselling psychology services to ARMS/EIS service.
• Lead psychological therapies and delivery of NICE concordant service.
• Conduct specialist assessments and individual/family interventions.
• Supervision of junior staff and trainees; lead service development and research.
