Power Electronics Design Engineer

£60-80k (flexible) + bonus + benefits
Hybrid working: Leamington Spa.

This role requires experience in power electronics design as well as PCB layout. Engineers should be able to take products through the design lifecycle to validated prototype.

Working in a customer-centric organisation, you will be involved in taking power electronics designs from concept (blank page) to optimised prototypes, typically for e-mobility / electric vehicle applications, but could also include clean energy applications.

NOTE: e-mobility / electric vehicle applications could include automotive, aerospace, marine, defence, and more.

The role could suit an engineer with at least 8 years of relevant industry experience. Candidates should have:

1. Strong communication skills (used to working directly with customers)
2. Excellent track record in the design of power electronics (power inverters, AC/DC or DC/DC converters, or switch mode power supplies (SMPS)) for e-mobility / powertrain applications.
3. Experience of designing digital and mixed signal control and interface circuit design would be advantageous.
