Join Our Client’s Cutting-Edge Team as a Principal Power Electronics Engineer!

Are you ready to revolutionize the future of space systems? We’re seeking a Principal Power Electronics Engineer to lead the design and development of innovative power electronics projects. If you thrive in a startup environment and are passionate about developing advanced power electronics, we want to hear from you!

In this role, you’ll be at the forefront of power electronics, shaping circuits and systems throughout the development process. Your responsibilities will include:

  1. Designing optimized point-of-load converters for RF and digital modules (1W to 50W) and standalone DC-DC converter modules (20W to 500W).
  2. Working on isolated and non-isolated DC-DC converters, solar power converters with maximum power point tracking, magnetics design, and system-level power management.
  3. Owning hardware designs from concept to production, including product roadmaps, block diagrams, PCB layouts, and in-orbit support.
  4. Sharing expertise with the team and mentoring junior engineers.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
  • At least 9 years of industry or research experience in power electronics design, analysis, and troubleshooting.
  • Proven success in designing, testing, and deploying power electronics products.
  • Proficiency in Altium and PCB layout for power circuits.
  • Hands-on experience with lab instruments like oscilloscopes and spectrum analyzers.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Preferred Experience:

  • Experience in space electronics design and qualification.
  • Knowledge of EMI/EMC design and mitigation techniques.
