Job summary

Spotify is seeking a Principal Product Manager to shape the future of our platform experiences. Based in London or Stockholm, you will set direction, align engineering, design and data teams, and build scalable platform capabilities for billions of listeners.

You will balance new opportunities with technical improvements, use data and experimentation to guide decisions, and communicate priorities clearly to cross-functional partners.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of product management experience building or improving technical platforms.
• Experience connecting technical decisions to user needs and business outcomes.
• Familiarity with mobile development for iOS/Android and app performance.
• Ability to guide products beyond launch and manage technical debt.

Responsibilities

• Partner with engineering leaders to explore solutions and guide decisions for performance and scalability.
• Develop shared platform capabilities for consistent experiences across Spotify.
• Improve adoption and value of platform capabilities by measuring outcomes.
• Balance new opportunities with system performance and migrations.
• Use prototypes and experimentation to test ideas and learn quickly.
• Communicate priorities and trade-offs clearly to align teams.
