Job description

Job Title: Principal Planner

We are seeking a Principal Planner with a proven track record in managing complex, large-scale developments and the ability to sign off delegated reports. The ideal candidate will have:

1. At least 5 years of experience in development management, including several years dealing with complex and strategic developments.
2. A comprehensive understanding of current issues affecting planning, regeneration, and local government in London from a development management and placemaking perspective.
3. Knowledge of central government policies and development plan policies relevant to planning and placemaking.
4. Understanding of planning legislation and related legislation, including local government legislation.
5. A general level of political awareness and a good understanding of local government operations.
