Job description

We are looking for a Principal Planner with a proven track record of handling complex, large-scale developments and who is capable of signing off delegated reports. The ideal candidate must:

1. Have at least 5 years of experience in development management, including several years working with complex and strategic developments.
2. Possess a comprehensive understanding of current issues affecting planning, regeneration, and local government in London from a development management and placemaking perspective.
3. Have a thorough knowledge of central government policies and development plan policies related to planning.
4. Understand planning legislation well, including related legislation such as local government laws.
5. Maintain a general level of political awareness and understand the operation of local government.
