Nexperia is seeking a Principal Package Competence Engineer in the UK to drive advanced semiconductor packaging and assembly technologies. You will lead studies, evaluate emerging package concepts, and shape the packaging roadmap across global teams and sites.
You will also mentor engineers, contribute to patents, and partner with Business Groups to align technology initiatives with strategic objectives. This role offers a hybrid working model with strong development opportunities.

As a Principal Package Competence Engineer, you will play a key role in advancing semiconductor packaging technologies that enhance the performance, reliability, and competitiveness of our Power MOSFET portfolio. You will act as a subject matter expert, providing technical leadership across package development, assembly technologies, industrialization activities, and strategic technology initiatives.
Working closely with product lines, assembly sites, and R&D teams, you will lead the development of new package solutions, evaluate emerging technologies, and help shape Nexperia's future packaging roadmap.
