Job summary

Pearson in London is seeking a Principle, Information Security - Operational Resilience to establish and lead its central Operational Resilience capability, defining the framework, governance, and operating rhythm needed to sustain Pearson's critical services through major disruption.

This enterprise role will coordinate across business and technology teams and provide executives with credible, evidence-based assurance on resilience readiness.

Qualifications

• Significant experience leading operational resilience, continuity, or recovery programmes in a large, matrixed organisation.
• Ability to translate resilience concepts into practical operating requirements and governance.
• Strong stakeholder management and executive reporting capabilities.
• Experience defining standards, testing, and assurance for enterprise resilience.

Responsibilities

• Define and own the long-term vision, strategy, and roadmap for Operational Resilience at Pearson.
• Translate resilience concepts into a practical operating model for a complex global business, including service prioritisation and recovery sequencing.
• Lead development of minimum viable operating state to ensure continuity through disruption.
• Oversee continuity and resilience plans, exercises, and executive assurance reporting.
