Job summary

ITV plc in London (White City) is seeking a Principal Network Engineer to lead the design, implementation, and operation of ITV's core network infrastructure. The role requires deep NetDevOps experience, strong leadership, and collaboration with the Principal Network Architect to evolve network capabilities.

You will mentor engineers, drive automation, IaC, CI/CD, and work in a hybrid setup with on-site presence at least 2 days per week.

Qualifications

• Design, deploy, and troubleshoot large-scale enterprise networks.
• Lead NetDevOps adoption, IaC, CI/CD for network deployments.
• Mentor engineers and define engineering roadmap.
• Strong knowledge of routing, switching, security, wireless.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on expertise and final escalation point for complex network issues.
• Define long-term technical strategy with Principal Network Architect.
• Lead evaluation and deployment of new networking technologies.
• Develop standards and documentation for deployment and operations.
