Job Description:

The Role

Principal Medical Writer to write a range of project materials including slide decks and advisory board reports.

  • Propose and define the scope of new projects
  • Review and sign off project materials
  • Identify and directly collaborate with KOLs
  • Manage and direct a team of AMWs, MWs and SMWs
  • Work with the Scientific Services Director to plan and forecast work
  • Identify new business opportunities and participate in presentations to clients

You

  • Good degree in life sciences and training in the ABPI code of practice
  • Editorial experience in a medical education setting including both traditional and multimedia (video/audio/web interactive) projects.
  • Experience of conference programme development
  • Desktop publishing skills (InDesign, Acrobat, Illustrator, and print production skills)
  • Knowledge of the main principles of pharmacology, evidence-based medicine and drug regulation and governance (e.g. types of clinical trials, role of bodies such as NICE)
