About The Role

The Principal Medical Writer will be a key member of our medical team, responsible for delivering scientific and strategic value aligned with client plans. They will help build our scientific strategy, review content for accuracy and compliance, and mentor others.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement strategic medical communication plans.
• Build strong scientific and strategic partnerships with clients.
• Collaborate with account teams to enhance client relationships.
• Ensure high-quality, compliant content delivery.
• Review and approve scientific content for accuracy and regulatory adherence.
• Work efficiently across divisions to meet project goals on time and within budget.
• Mentor and train junior staff, and develop processes to improve efficiency.
• Maintain high standards of scientific integrity and excellence.

Requirements

• Degree in a scientific, medical, or life sciences field.
• Experience managing deadlines in fast-paced environments.
• Experience working in an agile, collaborative team environment.
• Proven ability to produce high-quality medical/scientific content for diverse audiences.
• Experience in healthcare communications agencies.
• Therapy area expertise and ability to contribute to scientific discussions.
• Experience reviewing colleagues’ work and mentoring.
