Red Chilli Recruitment in Winchester seeks a Principal Mechanical Engineer to lead mechanical system design from concept through FAT, owning technical proposals and direct customer interactions. You will apply knowledge of centrifugal and plunger pumps, electrical drives and fluid systems, coordinating with suppliers to meet technical and commercial requirements.

Competenze

Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent qualification.
Experience owning complex technical work with customers.
Knowledge of ISO and ASME standards is essential.
Experience with pumps, drives and fluid systems is desirable.

Mansioni

Lead technical discussions with customers to understand requirements and explain solutions.
Prepare and review proposals against specifications and standards.
Develop mechanical systems from concept to prototyping, testing and FAT.
Perform engineering calculations and produce technical reports.
Identify design improvements to enhance quality, performance and costs.
