Job Summary

The Principal Mechanical Engineer – Aftermarket Services provides engineering expertise to support Customers, Sales, Tendering, Operations, and Field Service activities worldwide. The role involves designing pumping equipment, supporting tender inquiries, mentoring team members, and applying advanced technical knowledge to meet customer needs throughout the product lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the AM Engineering Team, providing technical support and design capabilities.
• Support Field Technical Services, including pump assessments, upgrades, site supervision, and customer training.
• Review customer specifications and develop engineering plans.
• Coordinate work allocation within the team and collaborate across departments.
• Deliver full lifecycle Mechanical Engineering design, including calculations, risk assessments, and standards compliance.
• Support downstream activities like shop-floor, testing, and commissioning.
• Mentor team members and promote standardization and best practices.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Extensive Mechanical Engineering expertise with a focus on pump technologies.
• Strong report writing, troubleshooting, and design skills.
• Proficiency with relevant software and standards (ASME, API).
• Excellent communication, leadership, and collaborative skills.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 10 years of industry experience.
• Proven ability to perform design tasks independently.
• Experience in supporting aftermarket services and customer engagement.
