The Role:

As a Principal Mechanical Engineer, you’ll maintain engineering configuration, ensuring design integrity throughout the lifecycle. You’ll promote effective cooperation across engineering teams.

• Manage customer relationships, including liaison and development of new business, resolving technical issues, and keeping clients informed of progress.
• Ensure procedures, codes, and standards are correctly applied.
• Communicate and manage project risks.
• Produce, review, and approve technical calculations, analyses, drawings, models, and reports.

This is a full-time role, 37 hours per week, based in Warrington with a hybrid working model (3 days in office, 2 days remote).

Essential Experience:

• Ownership and delivery skills, championing high performance and challenging the status quo.
• Knowledge of CAD tools and engineering drawing practices.
• Strong stakeholder relationship skills.
• Experience leading a team.
• Nuclear experience not required; applications from all engineering backgrounds are welcome.

Qualifications:

• Minimum HNC/HND in Engineering or equivalent.
• Ability to obtain Chartered status.

Security Clearance: Must achieve and maintain SC clearance.
