About the Principal Java Developer role:
- As a Principal Java Developer, you will be responsible for the design and development of backend, service, and portal systems. You will engage with a variety of languages, frameworks, libraries, and services, utilising state-of-the-art software techniques, including Behavioural Driven Development, and CI/CD.

Duties and Responsibilities:
- Understand partner needs, problems, and expectations, and take action to deliver high-quality, innovative solutions that provide value to customers.
- Improve software development processes, methodologies, and tools through experience, automation, and simplification.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure deliverables are technically accurate and timely, building quality into all stages of the software lifecycle with a focus on observable and testable system behaviors.
- Identify critical activities and tasks, assist with estimation and planning, communicate status effectively, resolve issues, and contribute beyond assigned tasks, adjusting priorities as needed.
Qualifications needed for the role:
- 8-10 years in a Software Engineering position.
- BS or MS in Computer Science or related field.
- Expertise in Java.
- Experience with Design Patterns, Refactoring, OO Design, and related areas.
- Proven experience translating Business Requirements into solutions.
