About the Principal Java Developer role:
- As a Principal Java Developer, you will be responsible for the design and development of backend, service, and portal systems. You will engage with a variety of languages, frameworks, libraries, and services, utilising state-of-the-art software techniques, including Behavioural Driven Development, and CI/CD.

Duties and Responsibilities
- Understand partner needs, problems, and expectations, and take action to address them through high-quality, innovative solutions that deliver value to customers.
- Improve the software development process, methodologies, and tools through experience, automation, and simplification.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure that deliverables are technically accurate and useful on time. Build quality into all stages of the software lifecycle, focusing on observable (and testable) system behaviors.
- Identify critical activities and tasks, assist with estimation and planning, communicate status and issues promptly, and contribute beyond assigned tasks, adjusting priorities as needed.
Qualifications needed for the role
- 8-10 years in a Software Engineering position.
- BS or MS in Computer Science or related field.
- Expertise in Java.
- Experience with Design Patterns, Refactoring, OO Design, and related areas.
- Proven experience translating Business Requirements into solutions.
