Principal Town Planner - Infrastructure Planning
Location: Bristol (Hybrid)

Up to £65,000 + Bonus + Healthcare
Are you a chartered planner with a passion for infrastructure and a strong track record in major projects? Our client, a leading multi-disciplinary consultancy, is seeking a talented Principal Town Planner to join their growing Infrastructure Planning team.
The Role
As a Principal Town Planner, you will take a key role in delivering high-profile infrastructure and energy projects across the UK. You'll be working with a diverse team of experts, providing strategic planning advice and managing complex applications, including:
·Development Consent Orders (DCOs)
·Transport and Works Act Orders (TWAOs)
·Nationally Significant Infrastructure Projects (NSIPs)
·Energy and utilities infrastructure
You'll act as a trusted advisor to clients, lead multidisciplinary project teams, and help shape the future of infrastructure delivery.
About You
We're looking for a motivated and experienced professional who can hit the ground running. You will have:
·Chartered membership of the RTPI (or equivalent)
·8+ years of relevant town planning experience
·Strong expertise in infrastructure and energy planning
·Proven experience with DCO, TWAO or similar consenting regimes
·Excellent communication, leadership, and project management skills
