Dudley Council is seeking a Health & Safety professional to provide expert advisory services and practical guidance to managers across the organisation. The role includes inspections, audits, training delivery and accident investigations to support safe, compliant operations.
The post requires a NEBOSH Diploma (Level 6) or equivalent and experience in multi-disciplinary settings. Flexible, agile working with a base in Dudley and some home-based work is available, with a DBS check and driving
Joining a respected team of health and safety professionals, you will provide a comprehensive and valued health and safety advisory service for the Council.You will also provide practical advice for managers, carry out inspections and audits, run training courses, investigate accidents and will assist with the development of health and safety policies and procedures and guidance.
With a NEBOSH Diploma in Occupational Safety and Health (or equivalent level 6 qualification) or higher, you will have previous health and safety experience preferably in a multi-disciplinary organisation or similar environment and have excellent communication skills.Experience of construction, maintenance, facilities management and housing environments is of particular interest.
