The Company:

Established global consultancy with expertise in supply chain and manufacturing, serving clients such as Dow Chemical, Cargill, Kellogg's, Coca-Cola, DuPont, Diageo, and others. Focused on food & beverage, manufacturing, chemicals, and pharma sectors. Long-term customer engagements and delivering award-winning consulting and technology solutions to enhance efficiency and ROI worldwide. We seek a candidate to manage and develop our largest strategic customers in the EMEA region.

As a Consulting Principal, you will lead client engagements, oversee project delivery, and develop new business opportunities. You will provide strategic guidance, lead project teams, and foster strong client relationships to ensure successful outcomes. A deep understanding of business strategy, industry expertise, leadership skills, and client relationship management are essential.

This is a remote role; approximately 50% work from home and 50% travel to clients. Candidates based in the UK & Ireland are preferred.

Requirements:

1. Client Relationship Management

  • Build and maintain strong client relationships, understanding needs and delivering value-added solutions.
  • Act as a trusted advisor, providing independent opinions on complex issues and facilitating decision-making.
  • Handle escalation issues professionally and efficiently.
  • Document and execute annual client performance and improvement plans.
  • Conduct quarterly face-to-face review meetings.
  • Represent the voice of the customer, providing feedback with a clear business case and ROI.
  • Manage and communicate NPS survey results.

2. Business Development and Revenue Growth

  • Expand contacts within client organizations, maintaining relationships with decision-makers to understand future needs and identify upsell opportunities.
  • Develop expertise in the client’s market, trends, and competition to maintain our position as the preferred provider.
  • Create strategies for client management and lifecycle management to maximize revenue and repeat business.
  • Align client account growth with global and local objectives, including budget planning and forecasting.
  • Negotiate key account terms, agreements, and SLAs/SoWs to ensure clarity and consistency.

3. Strategic Leadership

  • Provide strategic direction to consulting teams aligned with client goals.
  • Stay informed on industry trends and emerging technologies to offer innovative solutions.
  • Collaborate with other Principals to promote best practices and enhance client experience.

4. Project Delivery and Management

  • Oversee project execution from scoping to delivery, including resource allocation and quality assurance.
  • Manage project budgets and profitability.
  • Identify risks and develop mitigation strategies.
  • Ensure timely resolution of service issues and maintain high-quality deliverables.
