Job summary

European Tech Recruit are partnering with a leading fabless semiconductor company in Cambourne to hire a Principal GPU Compiler Engineer. You will define GPU compiler architecture, build the compiler pipeline, and collaborate with Driver and HW teams.

You will optimize code generation for performance and power, influence future GPU architectures, and ensure milestones are met in a collaborative, multi-disciplinary environment.

Qualifications

• BS, MS or PhD in Computer Science, Electrical or Computer Engineering or related majors.
• 7+ years of industry experience in the field.
• Experience with product compiler, assembler and linker development.
• Strong C/C++ programming and debugging skills.

Responsibilities

• Define GPU compiler software architecture and interfaces.
• Develop and optimize the GPU compiler pipeline and related transformations.
• Collaborate with Driver and HW teams to implement APIs and features.
• Improve performance and power through code optimizations.
• Deliver work to milestones and schedules.
• Analyze and debug code generation issues.
• Influence future GPU architectures.
• Foster reliable cross-team relationships.
